Dr. Brittany McMurren focuses her work on treatment of dry eye disease and anterior segment diseases, specialty contact lens fittings, and clinical research, in addition to comprehensive family eye care services.
Dr. McMurren has been practicing in the San Diego area since 2013 since receiving her Doctorate from the Illinois College of Optometry. She has had the privilege of founding three dry eye specialty clinics, with the clinic at Werner Optometry being the most advanced, and offering the widest variety of services, allowing her to provide extremely customized treatment.
She is a New Jersey/New York native who started her research career at the New Jersey Neuroscience Institute before earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from Cedar Crest College in Allentown, PA. Since moving to San Diego she has found her love of hiking, woodworking, and spends a lot of her free time cooking and gardening.
