We Love Our Moms And Here’s Why… How About You?

She may have taught you how to count, how to share your toys, and how to brush your teeth.

And although each of our family dynamics vary greatly, one thing is certain… There’s really no way that we can adequately pay back our moms for the gift of life.

Mother’s Day Is A Chance To Say, “Thanks, Mom”

We’d like to add our voices to the chorus and share an expression of thanks to each of our moms. We’d love to hear YOURS too!

From Our Team

We asked each team member to share a thought or favorite memory about their own mom:

From Leslie:

“My mom was my best friend. As a youth she was a caring mother, patient, hard-working and willing to teach me everything she knew. But as an adult, we became best friends. She adored my husband and loved my children unconditionally. Even after losing her 27 years ago, I still wish I could call her and share my joys and sorrows. Love you to the moon and back Mom.”

From Dr. R. Aaron Werner:

“I remember always being able to look up from any wrestling mat, soccer field, or little league field and seeing my mom supporting me.”

From Dr. Courtney Kness:

“I love seeing my mom as a grandma to my girls and appreciate her and everything she’s done for me even more now that I’m a mom!!”

From Torrea:

“Even though my Mother was not always able to be by my side she was always close to my heart. Since I have grown up and moved away she is only a phone call away to share my joys, fears, and triumphs. Thanks for always being there for me Mom. I want to be just like you when I grow up!

From Mayra:

“I remember my mom was so patient with us girls, always showing us how to bake a great cookie, cake or Brownie. Showing me that it’s easier to buy a dozen cookies from the store but the time spent with her girls in the kitchen, priceless!”

From Kathy:

“My mom always made sure we knew the importance of family. Family comes first, no matter what. We always had a home cooked meal and the whole family had dinner together every night. She also made great memories with family traditions and made the holidays extra special. Now she is an amazing “Nonna” to my son, and he is so lucky to have her in his life.”

From Brandon:

“My Mom has been there for me through everything in my life good and bad. She is the strongest most amazing person I know. She is my best friend and I am so blessed to have her in my life.”

From Kristen:

“My mother is a very genuine, kindhearted soul. She would do anything for anybody, without any hesitation. Even in my adulthood, my mother remembers to buy me a treat anytime she visits the store.”

From Kyndria:

“My mom has always been wonderfully supportive as I explored various creative endeavors. Her caring and compassionate nature is a gift and I appreciate her so much!”
